Having said that, you will agree with me that trying to make your employees comfortable while they work can make your business operations go smoothly. Therefore you need to utilize some ways to motivate them while they work.

1. Enabling your workers to strike a work-life balance
One of the ways in which you can achieve this is by giving your employees an atmosphere for them to balance their personal life with their job.
Whenever you feel they need a break or whenever they demand a break and you feel it’s worth it do not hesitate to give them that break. Doing so will enable them stay focused on the job and upon their arrival at work after the break is over, they will perform optimally.
You can also establish a custom of giving your workers the privilege of working from home. This will also motivate them and give them more zeal to perform more than expected but you have to be cautious about this kind of privilege so it doesn’t get taken for granted.
If you operate a big business or company and you have the wherewithal to take some big decisions, i would suggest that you build a facility in your company’s residence where your workers can have their family situated there. This also helps a lot.
One brilliant way of achieving a work-life balance is to ask from the horses yourself.
No matter what you think of, it probably won’t make their work-life balance any easier so ti achieve this, you can send out questionnaires to your employees asking them how you can help them balance their work and life well.
Once you have your answers, you can then implement the ones you are capable to do but trust me you can’t satisfy all of them.
2. A Conducive environment
While trying to make your workers enjoy the best your company has to offer, do not forget to also create an atmosphere that makes that happen.
Having an environment where workers are motivated to always put in their best can be the key your business needs for more productivity therefore it’s not a bad idea to try it out.
While creating a conducive environment for work, one of the things to do is to create an awareness in the workers that their ideas are important and they are also listened to.
A conducive environment to work is such that their are programs that creates an atmosphere for learning new skill and also developing on old ones.
The final thing i’ll be mentioning about as regards a conducive environment is the appearance of the office space. Having the right lightening done with the right amount of furniture and offices can also add to the comfortability of the office.
3. Vision and goals
As the general definition of vision is which is the mental picture of the future of something, it is actually okay to set goals very high and if you can hit them at the time allotted you would definitely be close to it.
Having said that, to make sure your workers maintain focus, it is important for you to break those goals into bits and set short time frame on them. This keeps the workers in form and and also motivated to hitting that target in due time.
The major reason why we work is to get the reward of working which is mostly in monetary terms.
As an employer, you can set some goals just as stated in the previous point but when setting those goals, you can back them up with some sort of reward. Try giving bonuses on every milestone achieved.
Once you keep doing that, trust me your workers will be more than motivated to work especially when you tell them before hand.
Other rewards could be paying for their vacation trip, giving promotions and many many more.
