share

Running a business can be fun and at the same time very tedious due to the activities involved and this means that you have to be physically and mentally fit to carry out these activities.

Although your health has to be very sound to successfully succeed in your business but what if you can also succeed in your business even when you have a negative health condition.

Hi everyone my name is Timileyin and in this post i will be explaining to you how to experience success in your business as an entrepreneur even if you have a negative health condition.

In this post i will be using an health condition termed DYSLEXIA and our case study will be a man who happens this health condition but has also succeeded in his entrepreneurial activities, his name is Stephen Key.

According to Stephen he said he has Dyslexia which means he finds it difficult to learn in the sense that he cannot identify sounds of alphabets which in turn makes him unable to spell or pronounce words well.

According to statistics, Dyslexia is a common health condition affecting about 20% of the whole population and about 80 to 90% of those with learning disabilities.

If you are reading this now, that means you actually want it and trust me i can imagine the how ashamed you may feel as a result of your health condition but that isn’t the end of the world, remember the quote that says ” nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission “. Therefore you need to prove to yourself that you are the master of your fate, the captain of your soul.

Since we have spoken a bit about Dyslexia and how it affects the activities of those who have that ailment, let’s now establish a link between Dyslexia and Entrepreneurship.

As a Dyslexia patient, you can succeed in entrepreneurship provided you follow the following these following tips

The first is

TO TAKE OUT FEAR AND ALWAYS ASK FOR HELP WHEN NEEDED

One thing to bear in mind is that everyone needs help at some area in their lives so don’t think that you are the only one who is challenged. Always ask for help when you need one.

According to Stephen, he explained how he was assisted in some of the activities he couldn’t carry out like when he had to write letters to potential licensees, his wife helped out and that problem was solved.

His longtime employee James Shenan helped out in filling provisional patent applications with the United States Patents and Trademark office.

The second is

TO TAKE QUALITY NOTES

Although his health condition deprived him from pronouncing or writing, he still ensured he took notes but he did this by first recording whatever he wants to write down by using his iPhone and then taking his time to write them down.

This singular step helped him in a great way and also his business.

The third is

TO MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY TECHNOLOGICAL TOOL AT YOUR DISPOSAL

As i have earlier said Stephen uses his iPhone to take notes and this helps him in a great deal to stay in track with the activities in his business.

The fourth is

FIND YOUR PASSION

Finding your passion is one of the first steps on the path to success in your business and once you find your passion, you literally don’t feel the fear of expressing what you have to offer and it ultimately turns your business into a success.

The fifth is

NOT TO BE AFRAID OF FAILURE

Fear is one of the greatest obstacles to success not only for entrepreneurs but also to every other facet of life.

Fear could be your greatest tool for success if you know how to use it and using it well will most often than not go a long way i  determining your success.

Failure is when you do not get up after a downfall, it’s hard to gather the strength to go back up again but it’s if you really want to succeed you have to go through it again and avoid the traps that led to your fall the previous time you fell.

Try these few tactics and i’m sure you’ll have testimonies to share.
