When running a business or an enterprise,  it deals with at least two individuals.

These individuals carry out these business activities with their knowledge,  skill and what have you but we many at times fail to put into consideration what goes on with their feelings.

 

We fail to take cognisance of their emotions while carrying out those business activities, this doesn’t apply to only business it applies to all spheres of activity carried out by mammals.

 

A person’s emotional condition is a pointer to the way he or she will react to situations. This is noticed well in the business line among other lines.

A business man whose emotion has been tampered with negatively will most often than not perform badly in his transactions.

It differs from person to person which is as a result of their emotional strength.

In essence, emotional intelligence is about being able to ascertain and understand your emotions and that of the people around you in such a way that it is managed in a productive and healthy way.

1. MOTIVATION

People who have good emotions are always motivated because their mind and thoughts are healthy and they can effectively carry out short and long term goals.

2. EMPHATIC
People with good emotions appreciate other people’s opinions and views on matters of discussion. They tend to work better when placed in a team either as the leader or follower.

3. SOCIAL FRIENDLY
People with good emotions tend to be more approachable and easy to communicate with. This plays a good role as a business person when trying to communicate with customers.

4. TENACIOUS
One good trait of people with good emotions is that they are able to push through every ups and downs. They do not allow their challenges get the better part of them instead they use that challenge as an opportunity to grow.

1. IDENTIFY YOUR EMOTIONS AND OTHERS TOO

To be emotionally intelligent,  you need to get people’s signals and your’s too whenever there is a change of attitude.

2.  EVALUATE YOUR EMOTIONS

To evaluate your emotions,  it means to ascertain if you had the right emotional response at that particular condition. Its to check if that emotional response was appropriate.

3. RESPOND TO YOUR EMOTIONS
